Do I need to set up an account to place an order?

Yes, you need to create a new personal account to complete an order.
To do this you must fill in the registration form with all your personal data and account login information (username and password).

I've forgotten my password. What should I do?

If you have forgotten your account password, simply receive, by e-mail, the password for your account by clicking on “Forgotten Password” and following a few easy steps, and you can soon continue your shopping experience.

Can I change my Password?

Yes, you can change your password and all your personal information after you log in to the account section.

How do I know if an item is in stock?

All items are in stock unless otherwise indicated.
However, items that are in your “Cart” are not removed from our stock until your order is complete.

If you are interested in an item that is out of stock, please contact us directly.

How accurate is color display on the Internet?

As internet browsers vary, the precise color of our items may differ from one computer monitor to another.

How will I know how much my order will cost?

Once you’ve added items to your “Cart,” we will calculate your order total in your preferred currency, including shipping fees and any requisite taxes determined by your local customs authority.

If I leave the site and come back, will my shopping cart be remembered?

By logging in with your personal Corto account, you may conveniently save your “Cart” for purchase later, add items to your “Wish List,” or share details about an item with a friend by using the “Share” button. 

If your browser does not have cookies, it will not automatically store your “Cart” selections.

Does CORTO MOLTEDO use cookies?

Yes.
CORTO ONLINE needs cookies just for Login/Logout procedures.

About Payment

Can CORTO MOLTEDO invoice me?/C.O.D? / cheques? 

We do not accept payment via check or C.O.D. at this time.

Is it safe to use my credit card online at CORTO MOLTEDO?

We at Corto Moltedo take your privacy and internet security very seriously.
We use SSQL Secure Socket Layer System and process all credit card information via KEYCLIENT System to ensure the protection of your personal information.

How do I remove saved credit card details?

We make it easy for you to review and edit your billing information.
Simply select the “Payment” button and enter your preferred billing information and shipping address.

Is my personal information kept private?

We are committed to protecting your personal information and assure our customers uncompromised confidentiality throughout their shopping experience. 

We require your name, mailing address, email, telephone number, and credit card information in order to complete your credit card purchase and this information will only be used to verify and complete your order. 

Corto Moltedo may email your about our new collections.
If you prefer to opt out of those updates, you may unsubscribe.

Are there any additional costs that will be due upon receipt of my order?

You will only be billed once, for the amount you see on your final purchase order receipt.

Is it possible to pay after receiving the product?

We do not offer this service at this time.

About Shipping

Why does CORTO MOLTEDO need a current email address?

We ask for your email address in order to conveniently confirm your order, verify your payment and alert you in case of a shipping delay.

Does CORTO MOLTEDO ship to Post Office boxes or Freight Forwarding addresses?

For your security and privacy, we only ship to address where someone is available to sign for your delivery.

Does CORTO MOLTEDO ship to multiple addresses?

Each order may only be shipped to a single address.

If you would like items in your “Cart” to be sent to multiple addresses, we suggest you complete separate orders for those items.

What packaging will my order be shipped in?

Corto Moltedo is committed to doing our part to reduce our impact on the environment by offering packaging in entirely recycled materials, without sacrificing style or function. 

You will receive your order in secure packaging.

Is my package insured?

Your order will be insured while in transit until it is signed for on delivery.

Do I need to sign for my order?

Yes.
Our preferred courier is DHL, which requires a signature to ensure the safe delivery of your purchase.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?

No.
Once your order has been sent for delivery, we are unable to modify your shipping details.

Can I add items to an existing order?

No.
Once your order has been completed online, it is prepared for shipping and it is therefore not possible to modify quantities. 

We suggest you place a new order for the added items.

How will I know you received my order & when will payment be deducted?

Once you’ve completed your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation of your order. 

In the unlikely even that an item you purchased is no longer in stock, you will be notified by email and your credit card will only be charged for the items in stock.

Can I track my order?

You will receive an email with delivery information and a tracking number as soon as your order is shipped.

Where is my order?

When your order is shipped, you will receive a DHL tracking number via email that you can access online link, or through your Corto Moltedo Account by clicking on “Order Status”.

If my order contains more than one bag and one of them is exotic skin, will the entire order be delayed for the CITES CERTIFICATE?

Yes, your order will be delayed untill the cites certificate has been issued by the Forestal unit of the Italian Governement. 

Alternatevely, You have the option to place separate orders to receive Corto Moltedo items in stock with minor delay.

How do I return or exchange an item? / What is your return policy?

We sincerely hope that you will be pleased with your purchase. 

In the event that you wish to return an item, please send a e-mail to customerservice@corto.com and send it back within seven days. 

Return shipping fees are not the responsibility or Corto Moltedo.

Will I be refunded the full value of my order?

Once we have received your returned item, AND VERIFIED THE CONDITION IT IS IN your credit card will be refunded excluding the cost of shipping.

It usually takes about ten days for the credit to appear in your account.

Does CORTO MOLTEDO offer a repairs service?

We are pleased to provide repairs for items purchased online, at the Palais Royal flagship.

If you have an item for repair, simply drop it off at our shop or contact us so that we make look forward to your shipping it to us.
